Sigma Gamma Sigma Sorority 2nd Annual Summer Explosion Weekend was such a blast,and we kick it off Friday 7/26/2013 with our infamous SL Dating Game & Luau.
The Dating Game is something that we are familiar with,we had it in our 2012 Spring Bling,well this time we wanted it to be in our summer explosion,since a lot of single people are looking for a date during the summer. Oweezy Button and SGS Founder Big Sister FYNE Red Bone & Founder LadyT were the host. We had sexy Bachelor at first,Billzdareason,start the game off,and sexy bachelorettes Lαyla-Nae ºƑξʀʀαɠαʍŏ (naziirah)Dee VaLynch-Martian (trinity.santos),&,DiiAM0Ndd Lauria. We Started with round 1,which focus all on their ways of having the best date.
As the game got more in depth,more single males felt the need they wanted to join in,so we have a few requests from the crowd to join in,and fellow bachelor ƊƖƛƁԼƠ ƊƛƁƠƧƧ (souljaboi.zarco),contracted Ladyt,and wanted to win a date as well. So When Round 2 Came Around,there were not only one bachelor but 2,so we took things a different route,and offer a chance for two females to win a date. After Many Questions,we finally came up with our winners,and the crowd were our judges,and the Grand Prizes Winners Were: BillzDaReason & Lαyla-Nae ºƑξʀʀαɠαʍŏ (naziirah) & ƊƛƁƠƧƧ (souljaboi.zarco) & Dee VaLynch-Martian (trinity.santos). Our Grand Prize Winner won many prizes and a date for two at our fellow sponsors Venue: Batista’s restaurant and Lounge.
After That,we had our amazing Luau,which was simply amazing. We had DJ Oweezy once again on the ones and twos,giving us that hot flavor of tunes. We had many GREEKs that came to support,such as Sigma Upsilon Nu,Mu Alpha Chi & Tau Beta Psi,we were happy to have these young ladies supporting SGS,and we always return the favor!
Day 2 Of SGS Summer Explosion Came Around,and it was time for our Open Mic Beach Style,and LadyT being the queen of open mic,was simply a treat for her to be in her own sanctuary. We started the event with LadyT’s infamous poetry,with a piece called “Love At First Side”,which really caught attention from a lot of folks. As we moved on we had 3 amazing Contestants: Lovecomedown, Pastor Praze (youngpraze) & Mᴇɪ Hᴏᴏғ (bracyn). They all did amazing performance,but only one can win,and after votes from our crowd,the winner was,the amazing Singing from Lovecomedown Resident.
Later That Night was our Beach Splash,which was really fun,we had Dj Splack on the ones and twos,and amazing GREEKS Supporting All From Omega Psi Sigma Fraternity Inc., Mu Alpha Chi Sorority aka MAC,and Alpha Alpha Kappa,and huge SGS Supporters. The Music had all our guests on the beach jamming,and although we crash,we keep partying until the night was over!
Day 3 and the last day of SGS Summer Explosion Weekend was here,and i was very hype because it was the day of our infamous bikini contest! We have done this contest twice before we transfer to GREEK,and it was amazing and wonderful to have it once again! I have tons of fun with our fellow contestants,they all were nervous but ready for showtime Our Judges for the evening were the sexy,and amazing Big Brothers of Omega Psi Sigma Fraternity.

After The 1st Round,we had our top 3 Contestant move on to our question round,and our top 3 were Blessing,Serenitykane & Icandy Sapphire. It was great to see those wonderful females in action. After Wonderful answer,and much discussing,the winner came out to be Ms Blessing! We had a wonderful Time,and amazing tunes at our mini after party by our DJ Oweezy!
