The SGS Big Sisters Celebrates MLK Holiday

Monday,January 21st,2013 was a day to remember and celebrate. While others in SL threw amazing parties,and tributes,SGS wanted to do something different. We came up with the idea of having  An Exhibit that features some of the best MLK Art that has ever been out. This Man was a wonder to our nation,and we wanted to show the SL Community in pictures just how of a huge impact he really was.

Our Amazing Exhibit was created by our amazing Sigma Princess,Big Sister Shut It Down,aka Candy Nowles(Candycash Adored). Her Vision was to captivate the eyes of all our guests,of the strong being Martin Luther King Was. From The Walk On Washington,to riots,to the boycott in 1955,to his amazing “I Have A Dream” Speech”,she really gave the community a different and deeper look inside.

On Behalf Of All The Big Sisters Of Sigma Gamma Sigma,We would like to thank everyone who attended Our MLK Exhitbit,we happy you were there to celebrate this great,wonderful man. We hope you enjoy your MLK Custom Gift Bags! Thanks To Anyone From Tau Beta Psi,Mu Alpha Chi & Alpha Kai Delta who attended. We enjoyed Both AKD & MAC Events,and will always come out to support all GREEKS!

Sigma Gamma Sigma’s Big Sisters Of The Month of January 2013

Every Month We are going to show recognition to a sister who have gone above and beyond for SGS. We want our sisters to know that we appreciate everything they do,and keep up the good work. This Month We have two sisters that really showed a lot and we were really proud of them.

Sigma Gamma Sigma Sorority Inc Sisters Of The Month of January 2013 is Ms Candy Nowles aka Big Sister Shut It Down and Lorielle Briana aka Big Sister Quiet Storm.

. Candy has been a great sister from the start. Always there when we need her,and strong. During her pledge days,she showed initiative and dedication to the fullest. She helped out fellow pledge sisters and master every task that was given her way. As she was crossed over to SGS,she was on a mission to bond with her fellow Big Sisters and give SGS all the loyalty she can. Any Events,Meetings,Ideas,etc she is always on it,and always motivating her sisters to become more active in their own SL. She was recently made princess and showed us before that,why she should be SGS Big Sister Of The Month.

Ms Lorielle Briana is a Veteran SGS Big Sister,she’s been rocking with us since 2010 before our organization became GREEK. She is the most loyal,trustworthy and friendly person you could ever meet. She will give you the shirt off her back if she could. No Matter what goes on she always there when you need here. We are very happy to have her as our sister,and she always manage no matter the time limit to make her way back with us.

These Two Females is the reason why Sigma Gamma Sigma Sorority can last long,without their loyalty,and trust and support,we would not make it,we are very happy to call you family Candy and Lorielle,and we want you to know we appreciate you!

New Year,New Logo,New Everything..What To Look Forward From SGS…

After Having Much Huge success in 2012,we are so ready for the year 2013,and the things we have planned for the GREEK Community in Second Life. We Start The New Year Off with a hot new Logo made by our very own Big Sister Ms Love Afterthought. We wanted a fresh new look(logo is above)and wanted our brand new crest to stand out among all sororities on the grid. We hope you like!
We Also will be having tons of charities events we will be doing with other GREEK Organizations,but we can’t disclose what the events yet,we want everyone to be surprise.

After Being A Sisterhood With Divas Inc. Sisterhood For 4 Years,we will also be celebrating a huge anniversary weekend in February,details for that will be posted by the end of Jan.

We also will be doing Our 4th Annual Spring Bling 2013 which will be the end of March,but this year,it will be a little different,since becoming GREEK,we will have more events that we can be apart of,and do with other organizations.

Also Our First Rush Week 2013 Will Be Coming To You End Of Feb,it will be amazing like our other previous rush week,but different events,and more to look out for.

We will be having tons of stuff this year of 2013,we hope to get more associated with other GREEKS,we want a unity, no competing. So we hope you ready for this ride SGS about to take you on. Stay Tune For Jan 2012 Events,which will be presented to you Next Week!
